Audi 8V A3/S3/RS3 (2013–2020)

Fits pre-facelift and facelift 8V generation A3, S3, and RS3. Note: 8Y (2021+) A3 uses a different mirror housing and is not covered by this listing yet.

Audi B8 A4/S4/A5/S5/RS5 (2008–2011)

Original B8 chassis. Includes the yellow + blue color-swap wire (see color-mode note below).

Audi B8.5 A4/S4/A5/S5/RS5 (2012–2016)

B8.5 facelift. Also includes yellow + blue color option.

Audi B9 A4/S4/A5/S5/RS5 (2017–2024)

Audi B8/B8.5 Q5/SQ5 (2009–2017)

Yellow / Blue Color Mode (B8 and B8.5 A4 only)

The B8 and B8.5 A4 variants ship with a chipset that can drive the LEDs in yellow (factory-look) or blue (customized look for blacked-out builds):

• Yellow (default): Plug into the factory harness — no extra steps.
• Blue: Connect the included extra wire to your power-folding-mirror positive feed. The onboard chipset detects the signal and switches the color.

All other variants (B9, Q5s, 8V A3, C7/C8 A6) are yellow-only — no blue mode available on those platforms.

Installation

1. Fold the mirror out and locate the plastic release tab on the lens surround.
2. Gently pry the mirror glass forward using a plastic trim tool. The glass releases from its ball mount.
3. Disconnect the mirror heater plug and lift the glass away.
4. Remove the two clips holding the OEM signal lens; disconnect the plug and lift the OEM signal out.
5. Connect the new sequential signal to the factory harness — the plug is direct-fit.
6. For blue mode (B8/B8.5 A4 only): route the extra wire to your power-folding-mirror positive; splice with a butt connector.
7. Snap the new lens into the mirror pod; reattach the mirror glass by pressing evenly on all four sides until you feel it seat.
8. Repeat on the other side. Test both signals before closing the door.
